Become involved, make a difference and offer to volunteer for the diocese or your parish. The dictionary tells us that a volunteer "provides a service through a formal organisation, by choice, without financial remuneration and for the benefit of the community”. Volunteer support is a vital part of our diocesan commitment to our members. Without volunteers, many of the committees and events that we are able to offer would be impossible. Self-worth, great fun, friendships and job opportunities can all be part of getting involved. There are numerous ways you can become involved including: serving on a committee, diocesan or in a parish, help out with events, just to name a few. You may even have a hobby or skill that would be useful to us. Feel free to let us know. If you are interested in volunteering for the diocese, see the related link on the left.
