RE: Registration and Information on the 2024 Conference Synod - Inscription et information au sujet du Synode conférence 2024

To all delegates to the synod, guests, and visitors,

As you know, the Synod of the Diocese of Montreal will soon convene for its triennial conference under the theme "Racism: Listening, Naming, Reconciling !". Remember that registration is mandatory for all participants.

Below you will find information regarding the event and a brief list of things to do to prepare for it.

When: Thursday, June 6th - Saturday, June 8th, 2024

Where: Opening service: Christ Church Cathedral, Thursday at 7 pm

Conference and Business Session: Fulford Hall (1444, Union Avenue, Montreal, QC H3A 2B8, 2nd floor)

Meals and snacks: Bring a cold meal or buy your lunch. Refreshments and healthy snacks will be provided.

 List of things to do:

  1. REGISTER for the event (mandatory for all) by clicking here.

  2. READ the convening circular, including the day's agenda.

  3. JOIN the new member orientation session. If you are a new delegate and/or would like more information about what to expect at the synod, you are invited to join the new delegate orientation session on Tuesday, June 4th, at 7 pm. When registering for the synod, click "yes" when asked if you will attend the virtual information session for new delegates.

  4. If you cannot attend this Conference Synod, please send us your regrets as soon as possible: for lay delegates, please inform me at sbertrand@montreal.anglican.ca; for clergy delegates, please send your regrets to Bishop Mary at bishops.office@montreal.anglican.ca.

  5. Visit the diocesan website at http://www.montreal.anglican.ca/synod/ at any time for more information.

Visitors are welcome but must register in advance using the link provided in point 1 above!

A list of synod delegates declared through the annual parish return is available on the synod web page. If a correction is needed, please let me know.

Comme vous le savez, le Synode du Diocèse de Montréal se réunira sous peu pour sa conférence triennale sous le thème « Racisme : Écouter, nommer, réconcilier ! ». Rappelez-vous que l'inscription est obligatoire pour tous les participants.

Vous trouverez ci-dessous les informations concernant l’événement et une courte liste de choses à faire pour vous y préparer.

Repas et collations : Apportez un repas froid ou achetez votre déjeuner. Des rafraîchissements et des collations saines seront offerts.

 Liste de choses à faire :

  1. Inscrivez-vous à l'événement (obligatoire pour tous) en cliquant ici.

  2. Lisez la circulaire de convocation, y compris l'ordre du jour de la journée.

  3. Joignez-vous à la session d'orientation des nouveaux membres. Si vous êtes un nouveau délégué et/ou souhaitez plus d'informations sur ce qui vous attend au Synode, vous êtes invité à vous joindre à la session d'orientation pour les nouveaux délégués prévue le mardi, 4 juin à 19h, en mode virtuel. Lors de votre inscription au Synode, cliquez sur "oui" lorsqu'on vous demande si vous participerez à la séance d'information virtuelle pour les nouveaux délégués.

  4. Si vous ne pouvez pas être présent à ce synode conférence, faites-nous parvenir vos regrets dès que possible : pour les délégués laïcs, veuillez m’en informer à sbertrand@montreal.anglican.ca ; pour les délégués membres du clergé, veuillez envoyer vos regrets à madame l’Évêque Mary à bishops.office@montreal.anglican.ca.

Les visiteurs sont bienvenus, mais doivent obligatoirement s’inscrire à l’avance, en utilisant le lien fourni au point 1 plus haut!
