Montreal Knitting Project

The Montreal Knitting Project, raising awareness about violence against women through a community art installation. Volunteer knitters are invited to knit or crochet 50 x 50 cm squares to be assembled into blankets and displayed on May 10, 2025, at Esplanade Place Ville Marie. At the event, visitors can select the blanket(s) of their choice in exchange for a donation, with funds going to Auberge Shalom, Chez Doris, Fondation Le Chaînon, & the Native Women’s Shelter of Montreal.
